Format for course:

Each class will consist of a lecture by the instructors followed by a discussion of the assigned reading for that day. ALL students are expected to do the reading BEFORE class, and to be prepared to discuss the paper. Three students will present each paper to the group, but everyone must contribute to the discussion.

Grading system:

The grade for this class will be determined by your performance on the presentation and on your contribution to discussions throughout the class. Students registered under the Zoology course number will also write a short paper. Instructions for this paper will be provided to students registered under ZOO 6927.
